At Bloxmob, Inc. (“Bloxmob”) we strive to harness the amazing creativity of dreamers, creators, makers and entrepreneurs to create new and exciting app experiences for friends, family and the BloxMob community. With Bloxmob any idea can be an app even without having to know how to write code or paying a crazy amount of money to have someone else develop it.

When you use our services, website, Bloxmob app builder and mobile apps (“Services”)—and any future Services we develop—you’ll inevitably share some information with us and possibly the Bloxmob community. So we have drafted this privacy policy to tell you about the information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices we give you to control, access, and update your information. Most importantly, we would like you to know that we do not want to use your data unless it is ok with you.

This privacy policy forms a part of the terms of use of any of our Services Terms of Service. When you agree to our Terms of Service, you are also agreeing to this privacy policy, so it is important that you read it carefully. Agreeing with this privacy policy is a condition of the Terms of Service. This means, therefore, that if you do not agree with our privacy policy, you may not be able to build apps or use features in them and you may not be able to use our other Services or parts of them. We depend on the data collected from users to develop and improve our Services in an efficient way.

If you have questions about this privacy policy, please contact us at

When you register to use our Services, you will be asked to provide some information about yourself, such as your name, e-mail address, or mobile number (“Personal Information”). When you use our Services, including when you build and publish an app developed on the Services (“User app”), we collect data about your use of the Services and, in the case of your User app, about how others use the User app. This includes traffic data, location data and communication data. We may collect information through various forms and in various places throughout the Services, including account registration, or when you otherwise interact with us or other users. When you sign up to use our Services, you create a user profile that may require you to provide payment account information. Information about your payment accounts is not held by the Bloxmob. We use a third-party payment processor to handle all payments.

Additionally, when you build a User app, we may review the content to determine whether or not the content is appropriate (see the Terms of Service for a list of inappropriate content).

If you choose to interact with other users regarding their User app, you may be required to enter your email address prior to making comments on other users’ User app or contacting them through Bloxmob or their User app.

If you post comments about another user’s User app or otherwise contact them through our Services, that user will have the opportunity to review, modify and respond to any information entered into their User app or through our Services.

Since we do not have full control over how users run their individual apps, this privacy policy does not apply to any hosted apps that neither you nor Bloxmob own. You should check that you trust the owner of a particular app before submitting personal information to them.

In addition to any Personal Information or other information that you choose to submit to us, we and our third-party service providers may use a variety of technologies that automatically (or passively) collect certain information whenever you visit or interact with the Services (“Usage Information”). This Usage Information may include the browser that you are using, the URL that referred you to our Services, all of the areas within our Services that you visit, and the time of day, among other information. We may use Usage Information for a variety of purposes, including to enhance or otherwise improve our Services. In addition, we collect your IP address or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”) for your computer, mobile or other device used to access the Services (“Device”). A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device used to access our Services, and our computers identify your Device by its Device Identifier. Usage Information may be non-identifying or may be associated with you. Whenever we associate Usage Information or a Device Identifier with your Personal Information, we will treat it as Personal Information.

We also use internet cookies to collect information about your visit. An internet cookie is a small file which is placed on the device you use to access our Services. Cookies also help us to know when you come back – and help you get going from the same point you left (or thereabouts).

If you do not want us to place any cookies on your computer or other device, please change your browser settings so that your browser rejects cookies. You should be aware that, if you do this, some parts of our Services may not work properly. If you keep using our Services without changing your browser settings, you consent to us using cookies.

We also use technology called an “embedded script.” An embedded script is programming code designed to collect information about your interactions with our Services, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your Device (or browser) from our web server or a third party service provider, is active only while you are connected to our Services, and is deactivated or deleted thereafter.

Some newer browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” features. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal or preference to the websites you visit indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Those sites (or the third-party content on those sites) may continue to engage in activities you may view as tracking even though you have expressed this preference, depending on the sites’ privacy practices. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret the Do Not Track signal, we do not currently respond to the browser Do Not Track signals on our Services.

We may use your data to send you information about our Services.
